Dhurba our guide was amazing, he explained a lot of things about Nepal and Everest region, together with our porter helped us to arrive at Everest base camp. Always checking out physical parameters, suggesting to drink water and right food and have the right acclimatization. The tea house were of course basic but the best for the trek. The Nepal Hiking Team were incredible from the moment we landed in Kathmandu. We had a fantastic couple of days in Kathmandu and were taken on a full day tour of 3 historically and culturally important areas by our great guide, Ramesh. After settling into Nepal, we headed off to Lukla to start our trek and met Paban, our trekking guide who was the best guide we could have hoped for! From the first day, he always made sure we got the most out of our days and experienced everything in the best possible light, he also kept us calm and made sure we feeling good but also never freaked out if we did experience normal symptoms from ascending in altitude! We made it through the incredibly scenic three passes, base camp, Chukkung Ri, Kalapattar and Gokyo Ri, and will take home so many amazing memories of Nepal and its people. We can't thank Paban enough for his guidance and friendship, and also Ganga for answering and meeting all of our questions along the journey. We highly recommend NHT for a locally based tour company and would use them on our next adventure in Nepal!
